Arkema Coating Resins featured both waterborne and solventborne binders for use in coatings for architectural, industrial, automotive and transportation, marine and wood coatings. The company also showcased resins for powder coatings along with a comprehensive line of additives for solventborne coatings and sealants.

Key products included Snap 720 Structured Nano-Acrylic Polymer, which offers exceptional hardness in low or zero VOC architectural coatings and Synocure Niso, which is a leading non-isocyanate technology delivering two-component polyurethane advantages without isocyanate chemistry.

Expanding its infrastructure, Arkema Coating Resins said at the show it plans to open a latex production facility in Changshu, China in late 2012. The company has already recently opened a technical service center in Changshu in October 2011. In addition, Arkema has announced the construction of a research and development facility in China, scheduled to open in 2013.
