The Lubrizol Corporation is presenting several of its advanced performance coatings solutions at the CHINACOAT2011 international coatings exhibition in Shanghai. The exposition is regarded as one of the industry's most important and influential global events.

The show is focused on solutions for the future demands of the coatings industry. Lubrizol is featuring products for a variety of market sectors including Solsperse hyperdispersants; Permax polyvinylidene chloride emulsions; Carboset acrylic emulsions; Turboset urethane dispersions; and LubriPrint polyethylene wax compounds.

Lubrizol's featured solutions provide a range of innovations. Solsperse hyperdispersants offer leading edge polymeric dispersant technology that stabilizes and reduces pigment particle size, allowing for efficient pigment dispersion. They are widely used in metal coatings, inks and paints.

Permax 805 is an APE-free, low-VOC, polyvinylidene chloride acrylate copolymer emulsion with improved stability that displays low moisture vapor permeability and offers corrosion resistance and durability for OEM industrial metal primer and DTM applications.

Turboset Ultra Pro employs next-generation technology for sports floors and other high-end commercial and residential floor finishes. It is a self-crosslinking waterborne polyurethane dispersion agent that eliminates the need for a separate crosslinker while delivering performance comparable to two-component waterborne systems.

With its patent-pending technologies, Carboset CA-600 is a water-based, 100 percent acrylic, self-crosslinking emulsion that enhances the appearance and performance of most mineral-based horizontal masonry surfaces. It provides blush resistance and weathering protection on driveways, sidewalks, decorative concrete and similar surfaces.

LubriPrint SF-285 and SF-300 polyethylene wax compounds are recent additions to Lubrizol's offerings to the graphic arts sector. LubriPrint 285 is a coating for applications requiring faster setting and drying on demanding media. LubriPrint SF-300 performs well in situations that require stability, low migration, rub resistance and gloss retention. SF-300 is ideal for food packaging applications.
